Nine Coins will be performed this Saturday at the University of Iowa as part of the Exchange 0f Midwest Collegiate Composers. The performance will take place on 4/17/2015 at 4pm at UCC Recital Hall. 

The piece opens with a cello solo, which will be performed by Esther Seitz. Luiz Viquez will play clarinet, and I will perform the marimba part.

I am excited to experience a new place, and visit with old friends. However, while visiting “American’s Heartland,” I will not be eating any deep-fried butter on a stick.
